WPA is a not-for-profit health insurance company, which enables you to claim money back on your everyday healthcare expenses. Your health and well-being are important to us and we know how medical expenses can quickly add up; that's why we offer a health care scheme to help with these costs. “In addition, our Employee Assistance Programme offers specialist 24/7 telephone support, alongside counselling, debt and money support and legal information should you need it.

Training & Development
There is a comprehensive training matrix for each role in the home, which includes a variety of courses that are completed either face to face or via E-learning. In addition to this, we also offer other additional training, development opportunities and access to qualifications. We have an excellent track record of developing people already in our teams and promoting them as they progress.

We have a great team to support you throughout your career with us. As well as the team in your care home, you will also receive wider support from our regional operational management team and centrally from the HR, finance, marketing, IT and estates teams. Blue Light Discount
Blue Light provides online and high street discounts for the social care sector and as Mariposa Care employees you are eligible to apply. For just £4.99, members of the Blue Light community can register for 20 years access to more than 15,000 discounts.
Recognition of Service
We want you to feel valued, that's why we make a special effort to celebrate and recognise the commitment and service of our team members. Our new Recognition of Service Policy rewards teams members with a financial bonus between £250-£2000 when you reach the following milestones with us: 6-months*, 1-year, 2-years, 3-years, 5-years, 10-years, 15-years and 20-years
*You must have passed your 6-month probationary period, or extension to be eligible for the 6-month award.
All Mariposa team members are entitled to a free meal prepared by our talented chefs within the home. If you would like to eat with our residents and enjoy the delicious meals we have on offer each day - simply let your manager know ahead of time and get their approval. Then take your seat within the dining room and grab yourself a knife and fork ready to tuck in!
